Other Costs
Documentation Notarization Authentication at Secretary of State in your
state and Guatemala Consulate $25 per document at the Guatemala Consulate;
Secretary of State varies by state (estimate $10 per document is typical)
DNA Testing of Child $450 Paid at time of test; paid to Lab Corp.
U.S. Visa (Per child) $380 Per Child -To be paid in at time of travel
Travel to/from Guatemala round trip per person $500-700 (Per person)
Approximate. Depends on season and carrier.
Food, Lodging & Taxis per day $100. Facilitator will suggest safe, clean
hotels at very reasonable rates. Honest, safe drivers will be provided at
reasonable rates. Time in Guatemala can be as little as two nights but we
recommend at least a three day stay.
Escort fee $1500 plus airfare & expenses paid prior to escort travel.
Infant/ Child Airfare to U.S. $150 Per Child approximate, depends on
carrier, season and age of child.
Post Placement Supervision/Reports, prices vary by State and agency you use
for your homestudy and post placement reports. We can help you arrange for
post placement reports with a provider licensed in your state of residence.
Re-adoption in U.S. varies depending on the state you reside. |
